Most founders I meet are not lazy. The opposite, in fact — they are working themselves into the ground. So when something is not working, their instinct is to add more: more hours, more tactics, more pressure.
But hustle is a multiplier, not a direction. If you are pointed at the wrong goal, working harder just gets you to the wrong place faster.
Clarity is the antidote. Before you add anything, get ruthlessly clear on the one outcome that matters most this quarter. Everything that does not serve it is a distraction — even the productive-feeling things.
Try this: write down your single most important goal for the next 90 days. Then look at your calendar. How much of it actually moves that goal forward? For most people, the honest answer is uncomfortable — and incredibly useful.
