Annual goals are too far away to feel real. Weekly to-do lists are too close to see the bigger picture. Ninety days is the sweet spot — long enough to make real progress, short enough to stay urgent.

Every quarter, I take my clients through a simple reset. It takes a few hours and changes the next three months.

First, review: what actually happened last quarter versus what you planned? No judgment — just data. Second, choose: what is the single most important outcome for the next 90 days? Third, clear: what will you deliberately not do?

That last step is the one everyone skips, and it is the most important. A plan without a “not-doing” list is just a wish.
